A truly magnificent 5 lake complex near Ashford which provides our members with a safe and secure place to fish with only members being able to access the complex through a locked gate.
Moorhen lake has Carp to 20lb, Barbel to 10lb and an excellent head of Roach. We have recently started a stocking programme to introduce both Chub and Ide into the lake. The plan is to ensure that there are options throughout the whole year, especially improving the fishing through the winter months.
Mallard lake hold carp to well over 20lb and also excellent bream, roach and rudd fishing. There are also perch, tench, chub and Ide in the lake making it ideal for all types of angler.
Nightingale lake is now our competition lake. It has gone through a major redevelopment (2021) and now has 24 pegs. Jay lake is new to the complex and has been stocked with Junior members in mind. It has a really diverse range of species anything from roach to bream, F1 carp to perch. Last count there were 11 species in the lake and the plan is to introduce even more species to ensure that our junior members will not know what they have hooked when the float goes under or the tip flies around.
Finally, we have Crabtree lake. As the name suggests, it is a very intimate little lake which holds our true British crucian carp. It is also stocked with Tench (green and golden) and golden Orfe.
